How to properly maintain the headstock bearing?
发布时间:2025/03/05

Bearing bowl assembly: When other parts generate relative speed on the shaft, the parts used to reduce friction resistance during power transmission and keep the center position of the shaft fixed are called bearings. They are generally assembled finished bearings, standard parts, easy to replace, and the accuracy is greatly improved compared to the loose bead assembly assembled by yourself. The cost is not high, the mechanical properties are more durable and durable, and the installation is convenient. The quiet effect is much better than the loose bead assembly. It can be determined that the cost is relatively more expensive than the loose bead assembly.

1. After cleaning and checking the bearing, wipe the detergent with a white cloth (or dry it), and add qualified grease. Different types of grease cannot be added to the same bearing.

2. When refueling the products wholesaled by the head bowl bearing manufacturer, dust is prohibited in the surrounding environment; use clean hands to oil, slowly rotate the entire bearing with one hand, and use the middle finger and index finger of the other hand to press the oil into the inner wall of the bearing. After adding one side, proceed to the other side. Remove excess grease according to the number of motor poles.

3. Oiling amount of bearing and bearing cover: The oiling amount of bearing cover is 1/2 to 2/3 of the bearing cover capacity (limited by the number of motor poles); the oiling amount of bearing is 1/2 to 2/3 of the inner wall of the inner and outer sides of the bearing (limited by the number of motor poles).

4. The motor end cover with oil filling hole and oil drain hole must also be cleaned when changing oil to keep the channel smooth. The oil filling hole must be filled with oil when refueling.

5. Motors with oil filling holes must be refueled on time. The oil filling cycle is determined according to the motor operation requirements and operation specifications (generally 500 hours for 24-hour operation of a two-pole motor).

6. When refueling, the oil filling port must be clean. The amount of oil refueling is limited to the bearing temperature rising by only 2°C (for a two-pole motor, use an oil gun to quickly fill oil twice and observe for 10 minutes, and decide whether to continue adding according to the situation).

7. When disassembling and assembling the customized bearings of the card-type head bowl bearing, the force points should be correct (the inner ring on the shaft is stressed, and the inner and outer sides of the end cover are stressed), and the force is uniform. It is the press-in method (small motor) and the heat-fit method (large interference and large motor).

8. During the bearing installation, a small amount of grease should be evenly applied to the contact surface. After the bearing is installed, be sure to check the gap between the inner ring of the bearing and the shoulder of the shaft (no gap is preferred).

9. The temperature of the bearing heat-fit method is maintained at 80 to 100°C, and the time from 80 to 100°C is controlled within 10 minutes. The guarantee of oil heating is to use non-corrosive mineral oil with good thermal stability (transformer oil is to be used), and the oil and container should be clean. A metal mesh is set 50 to 70 mm from the bottom of the oil tank, and the bearing is placed on the mesh. Large bearings should also be hung up with hooks.

10. Customized motorcycle head bowl bearing products require regular inspections of the motor and record the motor operating conditions (motor vibration, motor and bearing temperature, motor operating current). Generally, two-pole motors above 75KW are inspected once a day. When abnormal operating conditions are found, strengthen inspections and inform relevant parties. 17. All maintenance work on bearings must be recorded as a basis for setting the bearing replacement cycle on time and judging the bearing quality.
