Bicycles are powered by the body module, and the smoothness of the bearings can reduce the consumption of kinetic energy and promote faster speed. However, the smoothness of each bearing of the bicycle is not smooth. In order to make the bicycle run smoothly, it is necessary to have a nearly perfect bearing to cooperate. 1. Lubrication knowledge of bicycle bearings

(1) Oil seal

Although the bearings with metal oil seals can prevent pollution for a long time and can play an oil-containing role, they cannot be disassembled and re-oiled or fully cleaned later, so they are also not suitable for bicycle applications. The bearings used in bicycles must be selected with rubber seals. This type of seal has good anti-pollution performance and can be used for a long time.

(2) Mixing greases

Never mix incompatible greases. If two incompatible greases are mixed, the consistency will generally become softer, and eventually the grease will easily leak out and cause damage. If you don't know which grease your bearing uses at the beginning, then the non-standard full ball bearing manufacturer will have to remove all the original grease and then add a grease for lubrication.

(3) Mechanical stability

Grease will become soft when running at high speed, causing leakage. If there is vibration, the grease can be squeezed out of the raceway, and the soap structure of the grease will produce mechanical dissolution, causing the grease to be destroyed, and it is likely to throw the bearing out.

(4) Anti-rust performance

Generally speaking, grease with high viscosity and poor fat solubility has better moisture resistance. Even if the bearing cavity is filled with water, such grease can still produce a layer of resistant floating oil on the steel surface.
